Anticipated Return of WR Cooper Kupp to Los Angeles Rams this Thursday
Cooper Kupp: From Injury to Anticipated Return
There’s promising news for the Los Angeles Rams fans. Star wide receiver, Cooper Kupp, is likely to bounce back from an ankle injury and rejoin the team for Thursday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, as confirmed by coach Sean McVay on Sunday. Kupp, who suffered an ankle sprain in Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, has remained sidelined since then. His status was marked as questionable for the Week 7 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. McVay suggested that Kupp was “close” to rejoining the action on Sunday, but the focus was more on his “return to performance,” rather than just a “return to play.”
McVay and Stafford Express Excitement over Kupp’s Return
“The upcoming Thursday represents that for us,” McVay expressed, referring to Kupp’s potential comeback. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford also shared his excitement about Kupp’s return after being out for four games. “He’s missing being out there, so I’m excited for him,” Stafford stated after the Rams’ 20-15 triumph over the Raiders. He also expressed enthusiasm for the impact Kupp’s return would have on the team, highlighting his value as a player. “Having his presence around, guys love being around him and working with him,” Stafford added. In the two games before he got injured this season, Kupp has made 18 catches for 147 yards, along with a touchdown.
